In this shape of goal, there is a rounded frame that extends for about two feet behind the crossbar, extending to the frame before descending at a 45 degree angle to another bar on the ground.
This shape gives your goal more room on the inside along with an added level of stability. Depending on the total size of this style of goal, it may be light enough to move, otherwise it must be kept in a stationary position.

In this shape of goal, the net is attached to the front crossbar and immediately descends at a 45 degree angle behind the goal to the ground. In this case, the net is secured to another bar on the ground or anchored directly into the ground.
Typically, without depth shaped goals are lighter in weight and can easily be moved to various locations as desired.
Shaped like a rectangular box, the net will hang over the goal and drop to the ground at a 90 degree angle.
Typically, these goals are the heaviest goals available and are almost always permanently installed on the field.

The strongest netting material out there today, HTTP is commonly use for heavy-duty nets that are designed for long life with the ability to withstand the worst outdoor weather conditions.
Polyethylene is the most common netting material in the world. That said, the quality and durability of this type of netting is dependent on the type of knot used in the twine, so be sure to inquire about the quality when purchasing any polyethylene net.
In North America, nylon soccer nets are the most common that are made. Given that nylon is is so readily available, this tends to be the ideal choice for fitting custom-sized soccer nets.
Available in thickness ranging from 2mm to 4mm, twine that is twisted is the most common type found in soccer netting.
Considered to be the best type of twine with regards to making soccer nets, braided twine is the strongest of all of the netting varieties.
This type of twine is not as commonly uses as the above, but is manufactured to be thicker, providing additional both strength and durability.
